Confusion as All APC Guber Aspirants Claim Victory
The governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo state has left every imolite in a state of confusion as all the aspirants of the position claimed to be the winner of the botched election.
Our correspondent who monitored the process categorically stated that there was no former conduct of the said election as at 2pm, the State Organizing Secretary of the party, Hon. Kenneth Emelu during a briefing at the party secretariat along Works Layout, Owerri informed that the team sent from Abuja were yet to arrive with materials.
Reports from our independent reporters who went round the state revealed that all the aspirants who came from various local governments claimed to have won in their area.
At Mbaitoli local government, the Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere emerged the winner while Chuks Ololo from Owerri North declared self winner. Sir Jude Ejiogu from the same Owerri North local government equally claimed to have won landslide in the area.
Sen. Hope Uzodinma claimed to have won the entire Orlu zone while the governor Rochas Okorocha son-in-law, Uche Nwosu’s was yet to make any official comments.
At the time of Failing this report, the party in the state was yet to make official pronouncements if the primary election was conducted or not.
