The Campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party, Imo State, led by the State Chairman and the Chairman of the Campaign Council, Chief Barr. Charles Ezekwem, Ikemba Okigwe, was in Owerri West today for the Parties Campaign rally held at Central School Nekede.
For the very excited Ihedioha, it was a moment of Thank you to the people of Owerri West for coming out in their numbers during the just concluded South East Zonal rally held in Owerri. He thanked them for choosing the Presidential Candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his vice Dr Peter Obi, and other National Assembly candidates of the PDP as the Candidates to support during the  February 16th elections.
Speaking further, He noted that He has identified the problems of the People of Owerri West, ranging from bad roads to forceful collection of their lands, etc. He assured that when He assumes office, immediate attention and actions will be taken to find lasting solutions to the major challenges faced by them. Describing himself as a man of his word, His Excellency noted that He is prepared to offer a leadership of the people, by the People and for the people, where leaders will understand that governance is not about the leaders but the people.
Speaking earlier while handling over “the flags of Victory” to the various PDP candidates, the State Chairman and the leader of the Campaign Team, Barr. Ezekwem described Ihedioha as a man with multiple capacities who will always ensure that the right things are done for the masses. He stressed that the PDP is coming to work, rebuild and Reorientate Imolites that Governance is about project delivery and dividends of Democracy.
The Campaign train had the presence of Dr Mrs Kema Chikwe, Hon. Uche Onyeagocha, Hon. Ezenwa Onyewuchi, Engr. Ikenna Elezieanya, Chief Anayo Onyemachi, Hon. Uzo Azuatalam, members of the SWC, amongst other leaders and members of the party.
