2019 General election:Akaolisa raises alarm Says: Okorocha has trained fake army, police for election
Ahead of the 2019 general elections which kicks off on Saturday February 16, 2019, the Secretary Senator Hope Uzodimma campaign council, Barr. C.O.C Akaolisa has raised alarm accusing the state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha of secretly funding fake armed men in the name of police and army.
Barr. Akaolisa’s accusation is coming on the heels of a recent mayhem witnessed in Oguta local government area where two innocent lives were lost during a political rally organized by Governor Okorocha for his senatorial bid.
According to reports, it was alleged that a happy trigger soldier killed the two citizens during a stampede leading to several fingers now pointing at Governor Okorocha.
While reacting on the killing and other political issues, Barr. Akaolisa said it is rare for a well trained officer of the law to shut dead an innocent civilian who is unarmed no matter the provocation. “Those or whoever fired the shut at Oguta must be a thug working on instructions” he added.
The renowned lawyer noted that it is obvious the state Governor is poised to decimate all lives in Imo in his bid to ascend to the Senate saying the Oguta massacre was a glimpse into what lies ahead for Imolites.
He also accused the state commissioner of police for not doing enough in fishing out the perpetrators of the crime days after it was carried out. “We’ve reported the matter of Okorocha’s fake police and army to relevant authorities in the country, yet nothing was done. It is now the duty of Imo CP to fish out these masked officers before it becomes too late” he reiterated.
