Their plan began to unravel in January when Mr Ray’s niece Emma Worsfold tipped off to police that they were planning to kill him after learning of the incident.

Electronic equipment was analyzed and hundreds of messages between Glenn and Heather were discovered, including one about a plan to kill his romantic rival.
The jury was also told of other incidents between the summer of 2017 and the spring of 2018 that threatened the victim’s life, but which were only classified as accidents.
Mr Weatherall was suspected of being poisoned when a burner exploded during a fishing trip with Mr Pollard, causing him to drown.
Glenn Pollard was given a life sentence with a minimum of 17 years, and the other two were given life sentences with a minimum of 15 years.

Jurors heard that the traitorous Pollard, who had a firearms license, had “brainwashed” Mr Weatherall’s great-niece daughter into carrying out the “shooting” in November last year.
