Can you tell us a bit about your childhood and work history?
I grew up in a small town (Mariposa, California) with my family. I am the oldest of three children and I grew up surrounded by strong women. My grandmother was always involved in women’s groups and supported giving women a voice and not just a listen. She set an example for us to remember that life comes from you, not hits you.
You’re the first female CEO of ABLE — what drew you to this popular Southern brand?
What drew me to ABLE is their mission and their products. They are a special brand that gives back to women, not just locally in Nashville, but all over the world. When I was introduced to the women who run the company, I was even more inspired. I wanted to be a part of this story.

Can you tell us more about how ABLE gives women a voice?
ABLE has created new opportunities for women through the products we make. Their hearts are in the products we create, and a part of them lives on when you wear them. We name every product after the incredible women who make it.
What’s on the horizon?
I am excited to work with the ABLE team to create a lifestyle brand. We will continue to uphold our mission to be respected through our products. More to come…

What’s your favorite discovery in Nashville so far?
My Nashville journey has only just begun… I’ve been to Frothy Monkey multiple times (already) right next to ABLE! I’m looking forward to exploring more.
When you’re not working, what do you like to do as self-care?
I spend my days in the sun, getting massages, and getting my nails done with my daughter.
