MILAN — Alessandro Michele’s luxury vision for Valentino is entering Dover Street Market’s global network.
The Italian fashion house has partnered with the retailer, the brainchild of Rei Kawakubo and Adrian Joffe, for a collaboration that includes a series of pop-ups, installations and permanent spaces at the concept store’s international locations.
Starting Thursday, Michel’s Avant les Débuts Resort 2025 collection, the brand’s debut, will be showcased in a series of pop-up stores in Dover Street Market stores in London, Tokyo’s Ginza, New York, Singapore, Los Angeles and Paris. .
Adjacent to these, special installations at Dover Street Market Ginza and Beijing’s Elephant Space will be unveiled on November 13th.
This partnership will evolve into the opening of a permanent Maison Valentino space within the retail store. These will go on sale in London on November 19th, followed by Beijing in January, and Ginza and New York the following month.

The Avant les Débuts Resort 2025 collection first appeared at the Valentino Paris store on Saint-Honoré and Avenue Montaigne on September 30th, and was rolled out to the brand’s stores around the world earlier this month.
