Netizens have warned they will demand the resignation of President Bola Tinubu as nationwide protests over hardship are planned.
Various Nigerians have been protesting under the X microblogging handle using the hashtag #TinubuMustGo.
They argue that the president lacks the capacity to tackle the economic crisis plaguing the country.
Daily Post reports that Nigerians, especially the youth, frustrated by the economic reality, have vowed to stage massive protests across the country.
According to a flyer distributed by the group, the protests are scheduled for August 1-10.
Some protesting X users threatened to demand Tinubu’s immediate resignation if the protests were disrupted by security forces.
Below are some of the posts about X compiled by DAILY POST.
