As rumors continue to swirl that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are splitting, the actor has reportedly purchased a new home.
According to TMZ, the “Good Will Hunting” star recently purchased a $20.5 million mansion in Los Angeles’ upscale Pacific Palisades neighborhood, but his and Lopez’s marital home is still for sale.
His new bachelor apartment is said to have five bedrooms with walk-in closets and six bathrooms. Inside the main house, there will be a breakfast and dining area, a family room, a study and a media room with its own powder room.
There is also reportedly another guest house on the site.
A rep for the actor did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 55, have been trying to sell their 38,000-square-foot home since June, initially trying to sell it off-market before listing it earlier this month.
Page Six confirmed that they are also selling some of their artwork.
The “Gigi” co-stars first purchased the home in June 2023 for just over $60 million, nearly a year after they eloped in Las Vegas.
They’ve put the massive 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home on the market for $68 million and are reportedly “trying to sell fast.”
“They thought they could sell off the market but made the decision last minute to attract more attention,” a source told Us Weekly on July 13.
“Ben especially wants to get rid of this house – he’s never been happy there,” they added.
In June, a source told People magazine that Affleck “never liked” the home because it was “too far from his kids.”
Meanwhile, the “On the Floor” singer reportedly thinks it’s “too big.”
The couple have been spending their time apart amid ongoing divorce rumors, with Lopez celebrating their second wedding anniversary and her 55th birthday on Wednesday in the Hamptons, while Affleck remained in Los Angeles.
Page Six exclusively reported that the singer and actress celebrated with family and friends ahead of the special day at Italian restaurant Arthur & Sons in Long Island.
Affleck was spotted running errands on the West Coast while his wife celebrated.
