Ben Affleck may be trying to get over his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez with some help from RFK Jr.’s daughter, Kick Kennedy.
A source told Page Six that Kick and Affleck have been spotted hanging out around Los Angeles, including at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills.
While her relationship with Affleck, 52, has not been confirmed, they could be in talks about a future film role.
Unlike her father’s unsuccessful presidential bid, Kik, 36, appears to have chosen to stay out of politics to pursue an acting career. According to IMDB, she appeared as “Customer #2” in an episode of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which also featured her mother-in-law, Cheryl Hines.
Kick (whose real name was Kathleen Alexandra) was one of two children born to RFK Jr. from his first marriage to Emily Black. She was named after her great-aunt, socialite Kathleen Agnes Cavendish, sister of President John F. Kennedy, who died at age 28 in a plane crash in France. Kick’s first marriage, to a British aristocrat in 1944, lasted just four months and was killed in combat during World War II.
On Saturday, Kik posted a captionless photo of himself holding an eagle on Instagram, but Affleck was not seen.
Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck on Tuesday after a long-speculated split and just two years after they wed following their second romance. The two began dating in 2002 and were engaged before splitting in 2004. The pair had been spotted on opposite sides of the country all summer, and neither showed up to each other’s birthday parties.
Affleck and Lopez reportedly did not have a prenuptial agreement or reconciliation. This was Affleck’s second marriage and Lopez’s fourth.
While Affleck is a staunch Democrat, Kik’s father recently announced that he would drop out of the presidential race and support Republican candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
