Billie Eilish signed with agency powerhouse Casey Wasserman on Tuesday in the aftermath of her high-profile infidelity scandal, TheWrap reported.
The CEO of Wasserman and president of the LA28 Olympic Committee, who was once the show booker for the Oscar- and Grammy-winning superstar singer and her brother, Finneas O’Connell, began his turmoil earlier this month when the Daily Mail published a story about his sexual relations with female employees over the years.
As previously reported by TheWrap, Eilish was “deeply upset” by the reports as she prepared for their separation, which was confirmed on Tuesday after she performed at the Paris Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snoop Dogg to mark the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
“While grateful to their former live booking agent in Wasserman, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell have chosen to represent their film, television and music interests with the same agency, WME,” a spokesperson for Eilish told TheWrap.
Eilish is repped by Wasserman Music, which acquired Paradigm Talent Agency’s North American live music representation business in 2021. Eilish and O’Connell have been repped by WME in film and television since January 2023.
Representatives for Wasserman and WME did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.
The Daily Mail reported on August 1 that Wasserman was described as a “serial cheater” who frequently slept with female staff members. The allegations against the power broker behind Ed Sheeran and Coldplay date back nearly two decades to when he was married to Laura Ziffren, from whom he is now estranged and with whom he is raising their then-baby daughter.
Among those listed on his history of affairs are his former secretary and chief of staff, Patricia Fau (now vice president of host city relations at the LA28 Olympics nonprofit), human resources employee Kristen Merrill, and Jenny Chandler, a former flight attendant on his private jet who is now his girlfriend.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Feo denied the affair, while the investigation into her $350,000 salary as LA28’s vice president of host city relations has intensified.
In its report, the Daily Mail cited 11 sources, including alleged mistresses, all of whom requested anonymity “for fear of the social and legal repercussions of speaking publicly about infidelity”.
Billboard first reported the news that Eilish was moving to WME.
