Lisa, a member of global K-pop supergroup Blackpink, has been appointed as Louis Vuitton’s new house ambassador, the luxury fashion house announced Tuesday.
The 27-year-old rapper and dancer was a guest at Louis Vuitton’s recent women’s fall/winter 2024 show in Paris, where she joins previous ambassadors such as Saoirse Ronan, Felix of Stray Kids, and J-Hope of BTS.
Lisa’s “bold fashion choices are a particular reflection of Nicolas Ghesquière’s own vision of strong womenswear characterised by individuality and empowerment,” the brand said in a statement, adding that Lisa’s achievement speaks to Louis Vuitton’s core values.

“I am incredibly excited to have Lisa as a house ambassador,” Ghesquière, artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s women’s collections, said in a statement. “She has a bold spirit and charisma that I am so drawn to. She is as bold and creative in music as she is in fashion, and it is an honor to have her with me on this journey.”
News of the ambassadorship came in an already busy July for the girl group member. Earlier this month, it was announced that she will co-headline the 2024 Global Citizen Festival, which will take place in September at New York’s Central Park Great Lawn. The concert will mark Lisa’s first solo festival performance. As members of K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK, Lisa and her groupmates (Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé) headlined the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The four-member girl group, formed under South Korean entertainment company YG Entertainment, has become the first K-pop artist to headline a festival.
Lisa released her latest solo single, “Rockstar,” at the end of June, the first song from her recently formed solo partnership with RCA Records. In December 2023, it was announced that BLACKPINK had renewed their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment for group activities, but it was later revealed that all four members had decided to part ways with the label to pursue solo careers.
In February, Lisa announced the launch of her new company, LLOUD, describing it in an Instagram post as “a platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment.” In April, RCA Records announced that Lisa and LLOUD would partner with the record label. The label said the deal would allow Lisa to release new solo music under the RCA Records name while retaining full ownership of all of her recordings.
