A few drinks can solve anything!
Brittany Cartwright was photographed picking up alcohol from a delivery service on Tuesday afternoon, just hours after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor.
Dressed in a blue bikini top and a white towel, Cartwright, cell phone in hand, met the delivery man at the front door of her rental property in Sherman Oaks, California.
After a brief exchange, the man handed the 35-year-old “Valley” star a black plastic bag containing at least one liquor bottle.
Cartwright appeared to be keeping a low profile, with her hair up and no make-up.
Her wedding ring was noticeably missing from the ring finger of her left hand.
On the same day, Cartwright filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to end her five-year marriage to Taylor, whom she married in June 2019 in her home state of Kentucky.
She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation and listed the separation date as January 24, 2024.
The brunette beauty, who has three-year-old son Cruz with Taylor, asked for full legal and physical custody of the toddler, but approved visitation rights for the 45-year-old former model.
In terms of marital assets, Cartwright seeks to keep all assets acquired through gifts, inheritances, before the marriage or after separation.
The two star together on “The Valley” (season two is currently in production), are former “Vanderpump Rules” cast members, co-opened a sports bar together called “Jax Studio City” in October, and are co-hosts of a podcast called “When Reality Hits.”
Around the same time as the lawsuit was filed, Cartwright shared a sexy photo of herself on Instagram, wearing a glamorous outfit.
“Bringing the glow back ✨,” she captioned a close-up shot of her wearing a hot pink low-cut top.
Taylor has admitted that she cheated on Cartwright while they were dating, but she has yet to speak about the breakup because she is apparently still undergoing treatment.
He checked himself into a psychiatric hospital last month to “get better” for Cruise’s sake.
Before seeking help, he acknowledged he had “serious anger issues.”
During the first season finale of “The Valley,” which aired in June, Cartwright told his co-stars that Taylor would be a “very nasty snake” while battling his frequent hangovers.
The couple announced their separation in February.
