Branson Dean fired
Per source, the Bills have waived DT Brunson Dean, who joined the team as a UDFA this spring.
Eli Anglerfish Released
WGR-550’s Sal Capaccio reports that Ancu has been released by the team, who added that the defensive tackle is in discussion to join the practice squad.
Gunnar Britton fired
ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg reports UDFA OL Gunnar Britton has been waived by the team.
Justin Shorter fired
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Bills are waiving Justin Shorter after Buffalo selected him in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
OL Mike Edwards fired
Bills UDFA OL Mike Edwards has been waived by the Bills, per a source, who added that Buffalo is interested in adding Edwards to their practice squad once he clears waivers.
Xavier Johnson fired
The former Ohio State wide receiver was waived by the Bills, per a source. Johnson joined the team as a UDFA this summer.
Kareem Jackson released
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Bills are waiving veteran safety Kareem Jackson.
Tyrell Shavers fired
The Bills are waiving wide receiver Tyrell Shavers, per a source. Shavers had a great summer with the Bills and was expected to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster. If Shavers is not waived, Buffalo plans to sign him to their practice squad.
Ben DiNucci released
According to Adam Schefter, the Bills have waived Ben DiNucci, who could potentially join the practice squad.
The Bills make their first series of moves on Sunday.
Buffalo waived seven players on Sunday, led by linebacker Deion Jones, and placed two safeties on injured reserve.
