Those 14 and older can choose from a variety of career opportunities at the resort’s career fair.
In a fourth-floor conference room at the Lodge at Monroe County’s Camelback Resort, people lined up anxiously waiting for their turn at the resort’s fall career fair.
The resort near Tannersville is recruiting about 200 new employees ahead of the 2024-2025 winter season and is conducting on-the-spot interviews with candidates for many career opportunities.
“We’re thrilled to be working with Camelback Resorts,” said Mary Popovich, Camelback Resort’s vice president of human resources. During the winter season, we have many roles to play. ”
Popovich said the resort has job openings in everything from culinary service to housekeeping. There are also job opportunities for those who love winter weather, including ski lift operators, snow tubing attendants, ski instructors, and lifeguards at resorts’ indoor water parks.
“The good thing is, we love to have fun, so we work hard, but we also play hard,” Popovich says.
When you join the team, you’ll receive a season pass that can also be used at Blue Mountain Resort.
“We have a really great program and a lot of fun to create a great atmosphere for our guests and for each other,” Popovich says.
We are also hiring for front desk and resort ranger positions.
“There’s probably not a role where I couldn’t find a space for someone who’s really interested and excited about interacting with other people and helping people create great memories,” says Popovich.
According to resort officials, if you miss the career fair, you will have two more chances on November 1st and November 2nd. Click here for more information.
