As FDCI India Couture Week 2024 entered its fifth day, the fashion parade continued and it was leading designer Rahul Mishra who created magic on the runway. He presented his new collection, Nargis, which blends his signature elements with a touch of bling. From fruits to flowers and birds, the embellishments and embroidery in the Nargis collection highlight Rahul Mishra’s love for nature. The collection featured vibrant hues, sequin work, aari thread work, bugle beads, kundan, nakshi pitta work and more. Actress Lisa Ray dominated the runway in an exquisite outfit that brought out the best in the collection. She wore a delicate ivory and gold-tone sari dress with gold-tone floral appliques. Teamed with a corseted bodice blouse, the look was a perfect 10/10. She looked sophisticated and beautiful with a neat ponytail adorned with a red rose, and her fresh charm was the perfect way to complete the outfit.

Before showcasing Nargis at the prestigious event, Rahul Mishra shared a look at his latest collection on Instagram. In the first shot, the artist can be seen working on a sleeveless outfit with full embroidery. The next video showcased floral embroidery on a georgette fabric. A black sequined outfit and several other garments with floral prints were also shown.
Just recently, Emily in Paris star Ashley Park attended the Vogue World Paris event in a short dress by Rahul Mishra. The tiny dress was chosen from the designer’s Fall 2023 Couture collection, “We, The People.” The corseted dress wrapped in La Lune made Ashley look gorgeous. The structured sheer dress was fashioned to resemble flowers and adorned with shimmering silver accents for added sparkle. The strapless design coupled with the deep V-neckline exuded unparalleled drama.
Ashley Park wasn’t the only one to wear Rahul Mishra’s creations at Vogue World Paris. Preity Zinta also opted for an ombré gown by the designer for the same event. The strapless ensemble featured hues of silver, gold, brown, orange, black and lime and was form-fitting and eye-catching. Preity looked sophisticated and elegant with minimal make-up and open hair.
Rahul Mishra never fails to impress fashion lovers with his designs.
