The Honolulu Star-Advertiser is hosting the 2024 Hawaii Career Expo on Wednesday in the Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibit Hall, a free job fair shown here that drew hundreds of job seekers in October.

The Hawaii Career Expo, opening Wednesday at Neal Blaisdell Exhibit Hall, will feature more than 100 booths where job seekers can speak face-to-face with recruiters from some of the state’s biggest employers.
Sponsored by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and hosted by Star Events, the free job fair will provide an opportunity for employers to connect with talented candidates seeking work in a variety of fields, organizers said. During the free, in-person fair, applicants will learn about available jobs, have one-on-one conversations with company recruiters and receive resume distribution.
“Every year, thousands of people attend our career expo and engage with hundreds of recruiters and HR managers from across the state,” said Denise Chin, Star-Advertiser director of operations and advertising. “This month, we’re excited to feature job openings in a variety of fields, including law enforcement, construction, nursing, food service, tourism and hospitality, financial institutions, emergency services, retail, technology and transportation.”
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will receive free admission by presenting a printed copy of their resume at the main entrance. Pre-registration is encouraged at hawaiicareerexpo.com.
