Cornerstone University Career Services is dedicated to guiding students through the process of finding meaningful work that provides fulfillment and opportunities to be bold, Christ-centered influencers in a variety of industries and ministries.
Employers are looking for degree recipients who demonstrate they have adaptable job skills, refined interpersonal skills, and are tenacious individuals who are trustworthy, hardworking, coachable, and ready to innovate in teams, which is why we partnered with Frontline Training Solutions, a nationally known job placement agency, to conduct research to see what employers are looking for and provide students with a workplace readiness roadmap.

Interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
Cornerstone’s CU Promise provides intentional career preparation by preparing students to become industry professionals committed to ethical and moral decision-making.
CU LEAD Program
Learn. Engage. Master. Develop. Cornerstone students experience four years of intentional, Christ-centered leadership development to equip them with the practical skills they need to succeed in career, service and life. Throughout the journey, students receive leadership training aligned to their stage of development. Most importantly, CU LEAD is rooted in biblical leadership and character principles in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.
Faculty Mentorship
As industry experts, our faculty do more than simply teach classes to students: They embody Christ-centered professionalism and intentionally connect with students to provide career advising, networking, professional conference participation, collaborative publishing, and internship supervision.
internship
Career Services staff assists students in placing and supervising internships while they search for local and national internship opportunities in their chosen career field. Because we understand the value of hands-on work experience, we require on-campus students to complete at least a one-semester internship.
