New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, nicknamed “Catwoman” for her feline-like features, has shared a photo of herself before undergoing plastic surgery.
Wildenstein, now 82, celebrated his birthday on August 25th by posting a photo on Instagram with his then-toddler daughter Diane.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter Diane Wildenstein,” posted the Swiss-born socialite, who shares Diane and son Alex Jr. with her ex-husband, the late billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein.
Their divorce in 1997 thrust the odd couple back into the spotlight and they became regular features in the tabloids, with Jocelyn earning nicknames such as “The Wildenstein Bride” and “Catwoman.”
During their divorce, Jocelyn claimed that Alec continued to undergo cosmetic surgery in part because he “didn’t like being around older people.”
But as she told Vanity Fair, some of her cat-like features were innate to her.
“Lynxes have perfect eyes. If you show me a photo of my grandmother, you’ll see her cat-like eyes and high cheekbones.”

Their divorce dragged on for two years and was marked by accusations from both sides of infidelity, escorting and domestic violence.
