Girls, if you haven’t noticed, it’s fashionable month – the time when fashion editors (like Cosmo UK’s style team), influencers and celebrities flock to Milan, Paris, New York and London to check out the best that designers have created in their ateliers.
While independent designers produce some of the boldest and most provocative styles, it’s always the big labels’ blockbuster shows that steal the show. Why? Because they feature so many(!) celebrities(!) along with the most gorgeous clothes.
Case in point: the Gucci SS25 show at Milan Fashion Week brought together two of today’s It girls, actresses Dakota Johnson and Daisy Edgar-Jones, in the front row. What made it even more iconic? Because they happened to be wearing matching outfits.
Yes, the pair were photographed sitting side by side in see-through white Gucci suits and sunglasses, and (as you can tell by their smiles) they were totally captivated by this unexpected moment of unity.
Meanwhile, Daisy wore a textured white see-through crop top and matching shorts, paired with a matching jacket, an oversized slouchy brown bag, a pearl necklace and brown suede flats embellished with Gucci’s signature horsebit embellishment.
Meanwhile, Dakota wore a loose white see-through dress with a pair of dramatic shorts underneath, which she teamed with a black leather jacket, black slingback heels and a black structured horsebit handbag.
We still can’t forget this meeting of icons!
