Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will not participate in Friday’s light practice due to ankle soreness following Thursday’s joint workout with the Los Angeles Rams.

The Cowboys held their most intense practice of training camp on Thursday, and Prescott, who turned 31 on July 29, did not appear to be limited in any way.
Last month, Prescott was in a temporary walking boot after suffering an apparent right ankle sprain following a practice before training camp.
In 2020, Prescott suffered a fracture and dislocation of his right ankle in Week 5 against the New York Giants. He returned the following season but missed one game due to a torn calf muscle.
He spoke about how much effort he’s put into keeping his ankle in good condition with long warm-ups and rehabilitation work beforehand.
