Former footballer David Beckham couldn’t contain his pride as his son Romeo graced the runway on Monday.
Following in the footsteps of his stylish mother, Romeo, 22, walked the catwalk for Balenciaga during Paris Fashion Week.
Romeo, who has previously modeled for the likes of Burberry and Yves Saint Laurent, wore exposed-seam biker-style jeans, futuristic silver trainers, a blue and pink striped polo top and ultra sneakers. He appeared all dressed up. Modern wraparound sunglasses.
©InstagramDoting father David praised his son on Instagram, writing: “Great job, I’m so proud of you.” He added a white heart emoji. Meanwhile, David and Victoria’s eldest son Brooklyn sweetly wrote: “Well done brother xx loves you so much.”
Earlier this month, Romeo reportedly left his Premier League football club to pursue a career in fashion. It has been reported that Romeo initially followed in his father’s footsteps, but has since had a change of heart and is now trying to emulate his mother’s success.
He starred in Arsenal’s youth set-up in 2014 before joining Brentford just last year, before eventually moving across the pond to join his father’s team, Inter Miami.
Although Romeo has taken a step back from the football pitch, it is believed he will continue to work for Brentford Penguins, a team made up of players aged five and over with Down syndrome.
