Dua Lipa is back in black. The pop star wore her usual monochrome black look to the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Friday.
On the festival’s red carpet, Lipa wore a crystal-embellished silk halter top with a waistcoat over a crystal bralette top with gemstones dangling from underneath. Stylist Jaleel Weaver paired the look with a full-length black skirt with a high slit and a full-length zipper, which also had a matching zipper at the hips.

The look was taken from Ann Demeulemeester’s Spring 2006 collection. Lipa also opted for black strappy sandals that hugged her legs.

Weaver and Ripa have been working together since May. Before that, she worked with Lorenzo Posocco. Their first big moment working together was the Met Gala, where the pop star wore a custom Marc Jacobs sheer black gown with a custom belly chain from Tiffany & Co.

But black, and leather in particular, has always been something of a safe haven for Lipa. At this year’s Brit Awards, while still working with Posocco, she wore a custom black leather dress with a deep V-neck by Atelier Versace. In April, while promoting her album Radical Optimism, she appeared on SiriusXM, and evoked “The Matrix” in an oversized black leather coat that she bought from Khaite.
The iHeartMusic Festival, presented by Capital One, is a two-day event featuring performances from Big Sean, Gwen Stefani, Halsey, Camila Cabello and more. The event is hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
