DVF has a new CEO! Diane von Furstenberg today announced that Graziano De Boni will be the new Chief Executive Officer of her eponymous brand. De Boni’s appointment comes with further information: The DVF brand aims to be run by an in-house team by the end of 2024. GermanyDe Boni held senior management positions at Valentino, Prada and Armani before founding De Boni Consulting in 2018. Welcome back!

Michelle Obama’s viral jacket could bring in $2 million for Mons this week
This year’s Democratic National Convention featured several key fashion moments, including Michelle Obama’s Monse suit. Pack said the brand, led by Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, has received more than 800 preorders for the former first lady’s criss-cross jacket, a $1,690 style from its Resort 2025 collection. Obama’s suit moment, worn at Tuesday’s Democratic National Convention, is expected to bring in more than $2 million in sales for Monse this week, including the jacket, matching trousers, and additional site orders from curious shoppers. The moment leans into Obama’s tradition of uplifting American designers, seen with brands like Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, and Thakoon during her tenure as first lady.

Anna Delvey is coming to fashion week! According to Page Six, the designer who inspired Inventing Anna will be producing NYFW shows for Private Policy, Shao New York, and Untitled&Co. under her OutLaw agency in September. Founded by Delvey and Kelly Cutrone, OutLaw will collaborate on these events with Cutrone’s own People’s Revolution agency, following Shao’s runway show in 2023 on the rooftop of Delvey’s apartment. What a match!
