The Eagles are in Tampa Bay preparing for a 1 p.m. kickoff against the Buccaneers in a rematch of the 2023 Wild Card Round.
The Eagles announced Sunday morning that All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson has been listed as out due to a concussion. He was injured in last Sunday’s win against the Saints. Fred Johnson is scheduled to start at right tackle today against the Buccaneers.
In addition to Lane Johnson, the Eagles will be without both star wide receivers AJ Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion). Brown returned to practice as a limited participant on Friday, but will miss his third straight game. Smith suffered a blow to the head in last Sunday’s win over the Saints and did not clear concussion protocol.
With Brown and Smith out and Britten Covey placed on injured reserve with a shoulder injury, the Eagles promoted receivers Parris Campbell and John Ross from the practice squad. Campbell entered the game against the Saints and had two catches for 13 yards. Ross returned to the Eagles on September 24th and is scheduled to make his debut today.
Guard/tackle Darian Kinard has been active and will make his Eagles debut after signing with the team in February.
