Destiny 2 Revenant Potion Creation: Tonic Capsule
Episode Revenant introduces a new system to Destiny 2 called Potion Crafting, allowing players to create tonics that enhance rewards and seasonal artifact perks. There are two types of tonic:
Volatile Tonic: Consume Volatile Tonic to improve your combat ability. These tonics use combat flavor to enhance the perks of seasonal artifacts, and higher rarity tonics enhance the perks of multiple artifacts. Enhancing Tonics: Consuming Enriching Tonics increases the rewards earned by defeating combatants and completing activities. These tonics use reward flavor and help you tune two specific seasonal weapons that come with enhanced perks.
One important thing to note is that seasonal weapons in Episode Revenant cannot be crafted. Therefore, players must adjust their weapons to get the desired roll.
Salvation of Onslaught: New Maps, Defenses, and Enemy Forces
The popular Onslaught mode, originally added in the free Into The Light update, receives significant investment in Episode Revenant, adding three new maps featuring different enemy factions such as the Dark Cabal and Skorne . One of the maps featured during the livestream was Widow’s Court.
Onsrakut Salvation offers a power-enabled 10-wave mode, a regular 50-wave mode, and an expert 50-wave mode for hardcore players. Onsrakut Salvation has two new defenses: turrets and airstrikes.
Players have a small chance to obtain a fully masterworked double perk episodic weapon in wave 30. On Expert difficulty, you have two chances to obtain these Masterwork weapons. Onslaught Salvation on Expert difficulty includes Banes throughout the activity in addition to the activity modifier.
Tripwire is also getting a Stasis-focused update.
Revenant Season Pass Exotic Weapon: Stasis Primary Ammo Grenade Launcher
Bungie showed off the season pass’s exotic weapons in Episode Revenant. A stasis grenade launcher similar to the Fighting Lion that uses primary ammunition. Similar to Mountaintop, this weapon’s grenade projectiles travel in a straight line.
