Halle Berry isn’t afraid to put her body on the line for a role.
While promoting the upcoming Netflix comedy spy movie “The Union” with co-star Mark Wahlberg, the Oscar-winning actress opened up about the long and painful list of injuries she’s suffered during her acting career.
“I got knocked out three times,” she said in a video she shared on Instagram.
“I broke my arm, I broke my ribs twice — once two ribs and once three ribs,” Berry, 57, continued.
“I broke my tailbone, two toes and a finger. This one,” she added, laughing and holding up her middle finger.
Meanwhile, the Ted star, 53, revealed that his skills have caused him to tear his meniscus, dislocated shoulders and had his self-esteem dented “many times” in the past.
Berry has performed some terrifying tricks on screen over the years, including holding her breath underwater while filming the 2012 movie “Dark Tide.”
“I played a part where I was a freediver and I had to hold my breath for almost two and a half minutes. It felt like an eternity. I felt like death was imminent,” the Catwoman star recalled.
Plus, playing Storm in the X-Men movies wasn’t easy, as Berry had to be suspended in the air on wires for “long periods of time.”
“Actually, the guy was like, he went out to lunch,” she joked. “I was there that long and I was like, ‘Hello? Hello, is anyone there?'”
The “Bruised” actress also listed an impressive list of martial arts skills she’s picked up over the course of her career.
“I learned jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, taekwondo, and I learned how to shoot,” she said.
But Wahlberg’s list also includes crocheting, ballet and tango dancing, which he learned for his role in “The Other Guys.”
