But what really elevated this ensemble were her understated shoes. Clinton opted for a pair of sleek, neutral-toned pumps, a closet staple. The pointed-toe design and modest heel height, which rose about three to four inches off the ground, added a polished touch to her overall look, and the subtle sheen of the patent leather shoes lent just the right amount of sophistication.
These neutral pump choices not only complemented her outfit but also ensured that her ensemble looked cohesive and balanced from head to toe.
Clinton wasn’t the only one to choose neutral pumps to match her outfit that night: Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris also took to the stage in beige pumps that matched her custom tan Chloé suit.
The pumps appear to be a wardrobe staple for Harris, who has been spotted wearing them before, including at a campaign event in Atlanta, where she paired them with a pastel blue suit.
