Home décor and lifestyle brand Nestacia has raised $8.35 million in funding from Susquehanna Asia VC, Stellaris Venture Partners and prominent angel investors, the company announced in a statement today (September 10).
The funding round, which follows a $4 million Series A round led by Stellaris in 2021, will expand the company’s efforts in offline store expansion, new category launches, brand building and recruitment.
“Nestasia is well positioned to capitalize on trends in the Indian home and living market. The company’s strong online presence and diverse product portfolio are driving growth in the expanding e-commerce sector. Nestasia’s combination of stylish yet functional décor pieces caters to the modern-day need for beauty and practicality. With a focus on quality, affordability and sustainability, the brand is aligned with evolving consumer tastes and the trend towards premiumisation, effectively capturing a growing market share,” said Bhavani Rana, Investment Advisor, Susquehanna Asia VC.
“The founders have consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of consumer needs and market trends. Their unique strategy of offering a fresh selection every week has created strong brand appeal among consumers. Our continued investment in the company reaffirms our excitement about the segment and our confidence in the future growth of the business,” said Rahul Chowdhury, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners.
Nestasia was founded by Aditi Murarka Agrawal and Anurag Agrawal in 2019. The company offers a curated range of home décor and lifestyle products across six key categories. Nestasia plans to expand its range of kitchenware, drinkware, cookware and home appliances, and introduce new thematic categories such as Nest Baby & Kids (home products for kids).
“This funding will enable us to stay true to our mission of ‘Making Home Extraordinary’ by introducing fresh, on-trend products, expanding our offline presence and strengthening the brand connect with customers,” Aditi Murarka Agrawal said.
