It’s not uncommon for stars to descend on the City of Lights during Paris Fashion Week and stay for a few days for the shows. But Nicole Richie took that determination to a new level last night, flying to and from Paris in a single day to see Anthony Vaccarello’s Spring 2025 collection for Saint Laurent. “If there’s one reason to fly 24 hours to Paris, it’s to go to the Saint Laurent show,” Richie told Vogue. “Every season I look forward to seeing what Anthony creates, and it’s sure to be a fun evening.”
Richie opted for arguably the best (and most star-studded) event she attended this week; she sat front row alongside Rosé, Kate Moss, Zoe Kravitz, and Gwyneth Paltrow. As Vaccarello’s flowy suits and colorful lace made their way down the runway, Richie cited some looks she’d love to wear. “I loved the color palette of marigold and emerald green mixed with gold,” Richie said. “The suit was perfect.” A longtime lover of all things 1970s and bohemian, Richie says Vaccarello’s pieces are a perfect fit for her own wardrobe. “Saint Laurent exudes sexy, sophisticated cool with a touch of the ’70s,” she says. “The designs are elegant and edgy. I’ve been wearing Yves Saint Laurent for as long as I can remember, both new and vintage.”
It’s no surprise that Richie put a lot of thought and consideration into her front-row outfits. To give off a glamorous evening vibe, she chose a satin olive-green mini dress from the brand, which she paired with a large faux-fur coat. “I fell in love with this dress immediately,” says Richie. “It’s timeless, sexy, and sophisticated.” For accessories, Richie leaned even more classic, accenting her look with slingbacks and gold jewelry. “I love oversized chunky gold jewelry,” she says. “It reminds me of some vintage YSL jewelry I owned in the ’70s.” (An enviable jewelry box indeed.)
Though the theme of the night was fashion, we couldn’t help but ask Richie about some upcoming projects – specifically, the mysterious Simple Life reunion he’s currently filming with Paris Hilton. “We just finished filming our reunion special, and we were laughing the whole time,” Richie says. “We wanted to celebrate our 20th anniversary working together and show people a side of us you’ve never seen before. Expect a prequel of sorts that mixes our origin story with opera. Yep, I said it right.”
