Coins are generally not hard to obtain in Paper Mario: Millennium Kingdom, but as you approach the later chapters of the game, you may want to increase enemy coin drops. Ultra items such as Jamin’ Jelly and Ultra Mushrooms have the best HP/FP recovery in the Millennium Kingdom and aren’t cheap. To increase coin drops, use Melly’s Fortune or equip Mario with multiple Money Money Badges.

The Place of Money in the Millennium Door (2024)
Pianta Parlor, the Eerie Spire
There are two ways to get the Money Money Badge in the Millennium Door remake. The first is to buy it at the Pianta Parlor for 450 Pianta Tokens. The second is to perform well in Creepy Steeple Boo’s sixth trivia quiz. It also has a very low chance of dropping from Bombshell Bill Blasters (Palace of Shadows), Bill Blasters (Pirate’s Grotto), and Dark Boos (Poshley Sanctum).
Pianta Parlor
You can earn Pianta Tokens by playing slot machines and membership card games (e.g. airplane game, subway game, etc.) and exchange them for prizes at the counter. However, to unlock the Money Money Badge, you need a Platinum Membership Card. The only way to get a Platinum Membership Card is to complete the “I Need a Magazine” Trouble, which you can get at the Trouble Center after completing Chapter 6. Once you accept the Trouble, talk to Toodles in Poshley Heights, then go to Gritsvale and get the fashion magazine from Jolene in Grubba’s old office. Return this to Toodles and you’ll get your Platinum Membership Card.
Earning Pianta Tokens takes time, but if you have all the membership cards, you can earn tokens by playing different games. Alternatively, use your coins to buy Pianta Tokens from the Pianta Parlor machine. Note: The Money Money badge is 450 Pianta Tokens.
Creepy Spire Boo (Remake only)
After freeing Ugly from the box on the lower level of the Spooky Spire, you can use Tube Mode to roll under the wall in the first room of the Spire to access a hidden room. Here, you can get the Cookbook key item from a treasure chest, but you’ll also find Ugly. Talk to Ugly and you’ll earn rewards by answering his trivia questions. Each quiz is unlocked by completing a story chapter. The reward for the sixth quiz is the Money Money badge, so you’ll need to have completed chapter eight and passed all previous quizzes.
In Quiz 6, Boo will ask you 15 questions. You must answer all of them correctly to earn your badge.

How many coins can I earn?
The Money Money badge costs 5 BP to equip. Money Money increases the coins you get after a battle, but the amount varies. It could be a few coins or it could be as much as 99. If you want to try your luck and get 99 coins in most battles, consider equipping both Money Money badges.
