Meghan Markle is a sophisticated style siren, known for putting together chic looks that are easy to recreate yet still feel classy. For example, there’s a good chance that one of her latest outfits can be recreated using things you probably already have in your closet.
On Oct. 2, Ms. Markle attended Girls Ink of Greater Santa Barbara in a blue button-up with a white collar, ivory pleated pants buttoned up and a cognac leather belt with a gold buckle. He appeared. Boot-cut trousers revealed suede camel-coloured pointed-toe heels, and the duchess accessorized with beaded necklaces and bracelets, as well as layered gold bracelets.
Her hair was styled in a mid-part and in loose, shiny curls, and she kept it charmingly simple with fringed eyelashes and a mauve lip.
During her visit, Ms. Markle joined a group of young girls to play games, do crafts, and help with a new digital wellness initiative called Social Media U. Markle also spoke with the teens about social media, a topic she and her husband have raised. Prince Harry has been very vocal about this in recent years.
According to Vanity Fair, Girls Inc. is also partnering with tech advocacy group #HalfTheStory to promote the program nationally. Markle and Prince Harry’s organization, the Archewell Foundation, will fund the effort, along with the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation and Melinda French Gates’ Pivotal Ventures. Markle also met with Girls Inc. CEO Stephanie J. Hull and #HalfTheStory founder Larissa May.
“We did an activity where we talked about a lot of scenarios, and we talked about how Meghan is one of the most bullied people in the world,” May told VF. “We asked the girls to wave these little emoji signs and talk about how each of these scenarios affected them emotionally.”
