The Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday they had carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon, killing four Hezbollah operatives, as Israel braces for a possible attack from Iran.
The attack took place in the Nabatieh area, with the IDF saying its warplanes targeted a building used by Hezbollah on the southern front.
The IDF said a second building housing Hezbollah operations was also hit in Qiam.
The Israel Defense Forces did not immediately report any casualties, but a Lebanese security source told AFP that four Hezbollah members were killed in the attack, The Times of Israel reported.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to come under attack while preparing for the possibility of a larger conflict.
Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst reported that Hezbollah launched rocket and drone attacks on northern Israel on Monday. Emergency responders reported that two people were wounded by shrapnel, one of them in critical condition.
Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah have been exchanging near-daily attacks for the past 10 months. The conflict began when Iranian proxy Hamas carried out a massacre against Israel on October 7, killing 1,200 people, including more than 30 Americans.
Tensions have risen in recent weeks as world leaders fear the conflict could escalate into a larger regional war.

The assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week has further increased tensions in the Middle East. Israel has not publicly admitted responsibility for the assassination, but Iran and Hamas have accused the Jewish state of being behind it.
