“Good nutrition is essential to a healthy and happy life, especially for an actor like me who needs to look my best for every role. For me, staying in shape has always been about balance, consistency and listening to my body,” she wrote in the post.
Nayanthara further stated that a good diet is not about counting calories, but about counting nutrients and eating a variety of foods in the right amounts. “I used to think that ‘dieting’ meant restricting myself and eating things I don’t like. Now I know that dieting is not about counting calories, but about counting nutrients and eating a variety of foods in the right amounts. It’s a lifestyle, not a temporary solution.”

Nayanthara then revealed that she has been introduced to a nutritionist and is now enjoying home-cooked meals with no guilt and with joy. “I now enjoy nutritious and delicious home-cooked meals. I eat them with no guilt and with no desire to eat junk food again. My outlook on food has changed and I feel nourished, energised and genuinely happy,” the note further reads.
Nayanthara further wrote, “I believe that what we eat has a profound impact on our overall health. I hope that by sharing my story, I can inspire you to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
