Jennifer Lopez has been hard at work promoting her new movie “Unstoppable,” and this time she appeared at a photocall for the film at AFI Fest in Los Angeles on October 26th.
Reaching new heights, Lopez towered over her look in a pair of Gucci angel leather platform heels made of luxurious shiny tan leather. The designer’s pick featured a thin strap construction, an almond-shaped toe, a raised platform sole, and an adjustable buckle closure to keep the shoe in place. A 4- to 5-inch stiletto heel completes the sky-high set, elongating the legs and elongating the silhouette.
Those looking to emulate Lopez’s shoe style can purchase Gucci platforms second-hand, especially through second-hand websites like Poshmark and Depop. The Angel platform is available in a variety of colors including black, tan, brown, and red. Shoe finishes also vary from glossy patent leather to genuine leather.
Outfit-wise, the musician wore No. 21’s Resort 2025 look, which consisted of cream colors and structured cuts. Lopez wore an oversized bomber-style jacket with an open front, which she layered with a crisp white button-up and blush pink miniskirt. The performers’ bottoms were belted and featured textured wavy details and defined pleats. As for accessories, the ‘Atlas’ star carried a cream leather mini bag, which perfectly matched the color scheme of her look.
Over the years, Lopez’s smokeshow style has been admired. Her sophisticated red carpet selections often feature classic styles with striking edits and additions. She has worked on several fashion ventures throughout her career, including recently launching a footwear collaboration with Revolve.
She previously partnered with Giuseppe Zanotti on a 2017 luxury shoe collection and launched a namesake shoe line with DSW in 2020. Lopez is also an ambassador for brands such as Coach, Versace, and Guess. In 2019, the Council of Fashion Designers of America awarded her the Fashion Icon Award.
“Unstoppable” will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6th, followed by a limited theatrical release on December 6th. The film, distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, tells the story of Anthony Robles. A child born without legs becomes a champion wrestler in college, competing against schools that rejected him and exceeding expectations. Emmy Award winner Jharrel Jerome plays the athlete, while Lopez plays his mother, Judy Robles.
