Josh Jacobs scored his first career touchdown on his 212th career catch, ending Jordan Love’s long streak with an 8-yard touchdown reception. The score marked the fifth lead change of the game and gave the Packers a 21-19 advantage. Jacobs had a 27-yard run on a 71-yard touchdown drive, gaining 70 yards on 10 carries. The Packers put pressure on lifelong runner CJ Stroud, who was 5-of-14 for 44 yards and had three sacks and two hits.

Josh Jacobs scored his first career receiving touchdown in his sixth season in the NFL, breaking the longest streak in NFL history. Despite 211 receptions, Jacobs’ streak of 211 touchdowns remains, but his active title was broken by quarterback Jordan Love’s 8-yard pass during the game. Green Bay Packers vs. Houston Texans game. Jacobs played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was drafted in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. Jacobs rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons, was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team in 2019, and was selected to his first Pro Bowl in 2020. In 2022, he led the league in rushing yards with 1,653 yards and was the Most Valuable Player. He is the first Raider to surpass 2,000 scrimmage yards since 1985. After five years with the Raiders, Jacobs signed with the Packers in 2024.
Jacobs made his NFL debut in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos, rushing 23 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns. He then rushed 12 times for 99 yards in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. In the win over the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he rushed 26 times for 123 yards and two touchdowns. In Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers, he rushed 21 times for 124 yards. Two weeks later, he rushed 28 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-24 victory over the Detroit Lions.
