A baby beaver was born.
Pop star Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey announced they had welcomed a baby into the world in a heartwarming social media post on Friday night.
“Welcome home,” the “Baby” singer posted on Instagram alongside a photo of his wife holding their little son’s foot.
He revealed that the baby’s name is Jack Bruce Bieber.
Justin, 30, and Hailey, 27, announced the pregnancy news in May, posting a photo of Hailey’s baby bump during their wedding vow renewal in Hawaii.
While Hailey has posted plenty of photos showing off her budding belly, she has remained largely tight-lipped about her pregnancy.
She revealed that she was experiencing pregnancy-specific cravings, like egg salad and pickles slathered in hot sauce, and that she was suffering from back pain.
She’s appeared in numerous photo shoots throughout her pregnancy, including a recent one for W magazine, where she wore a flowing Isabel Marant baby doll dress over a sparkly butterfly crop top.
During an interview for her cover shoot, she admitted that she didn’t announce the birth news until she was six months pregnant because her belly “stayed small for a long time.”
Fans speculated that Justin and Hailey were expecting a girl after the pair described the upcoming baby as a “cherry blossom.”
The couple married at a Manhattan courthouse in September 2018 after a two-month engagement, and then married again the following year in a star-studded ceremony in South Carolina in front of family and friends.
