Kamala Harris is launching a new clothing line from 16 top designers to support her 2024 US presidential campaign.
After Harris Waltz’s camo “Midwest Princess” hat reportedly raked in nearly $1 million in sales in less than a day, the Harris campaign added a collection of socks, tote bags, T-shirts and sweatshirts ahead of November’s presidential election. American voters can now shop from a wide range of products from some of fashion’s biggest designers, including Ulla Johnson, Tory Burch, Willie Chavarria, Thom Browne, Prabal Gurung and Sergio Hudson.
From red, white and blue striped crew socks to a black long-sleeved shirt that reads “Reproductive Rights Now,” the new merchandise line highlights Harris’ campaign platforms and the issues she’s focused on.
Megan Burdick, a senior campaign adviser to Harris, told Vogue about the new collection: “Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz are fighting to strengthen our democracy, protect reproductive freedom, and for a future where everyone has the opportunity to not just survive, but thrive.”
“Designers for Democracy is a group of beloved American designers who believe in that vision and are working to get Harris and Waltz to the White House,” Burdick explained.
While designers like Aurora James, Vera Wang, Joseph Altuza and Victor Glemaud have been known to contribute to Democratic presidential collections in past years, this year Harris’ team tapped emerging creatives like Rachel Scott and Bettina Benson.
Each contributor worked with others or individually to create an item that reflected the issue they were most passionate about: Aurora James, creative director at Brother Berries, for example, created crew socks with red hearts and the words “reproductive freedom” embroidered in black at the ankle, and a T-shirt that read, “America is an Idea.”
“The most important issues to me this fall are unity and compassion,” James said. “For too long, people like me have been made to feel like we don’t belong here, but America belongs to all of us, and we are all equal.”
“I firmly believe that an inclusive country is a stronger country, and I couldn’t be more excited to support Kamala Harris as she makes her way to the White House,” James added. “She carries with her so many of our ideas and dreams about what America is and can be.”
Thom Browne designed a navy blue scarf with red trim and the message “Let’s win this” emblazoned across the neck, while Jonathan Cohen designed a blue crew-neck sweatshirt embroidered with red and white rose vines and the words “Vote 2024.”
Meanwhile, Brett Heyman created a simple black tote bag with the words “History is Watching” in blue lettering. Other designs include phrases like “We won’t back down” and “We choose freedom.” Tory Burch also created a canvas tote bag with the word “Vote” printed all over it.
“Voting is an honor and a privilege, and democracy works best with everyone’s participation,” Burch told Vogue.

Harris’ campaign has been targeting Gen Z voters since she was selected as the new Democratic candidate to run for vice president after Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. When Harris selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate on August 6, viewers noticed that Walz’s outfit included an accessory that resembled the “Midwest Princess” camo hat, a well-known product by emerging artist Chapel Lawn.
Capitalizing on this excitement, they pressured Harris and Waltz to design their own version, and the campaign released a collection of “Harris Waltz” camo baseball caps similar to the “Good Luck, Babe” singer’s own line.
