Kim Kardashian might want to be more careful next time she closes her bathroom door.
In Season 5, Episode 9 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim revealed that she accidentally severed the tips of the index and middle fingers on her left hand while closing the shower door in the bathroom.
Recalling the shocking moment, the Skims founder showed off his bandaged hand to the cameras.
She said she dropped to her knees the moment she noticed blood coming from her hands.
“I literally looked at my hands and then I fell to the ground,” she said. “I grabbed the table and got to my knees. There was a lot of blood and it looked like the bone was sticking out a little bit so I was like, ‘Help me.’ I was like, ‘I need ice.'”
She said after her injury she felt frozen to the spot.
“I didn’t scream, I didn’t do anything,” she continued in her confession, “I just screamed ‘help!’ I just froze, the pain was indescribable, my whole body went into shock. It hurt more than giving birth.”
Her concerns grew again when she went to see a doctor, who told her the nail on her injured finger “may never grow back.”
“I was like, ‘Oh come on!'” she joked.
To help his hand heal, Kim said he’s already done four hours of hyperbaric therapy, which is “the medical use of oxygen at pressure levels higher than atmospheric,” according to the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, but while he feels the treatment is helping, he doesn’t have the time to do it every day.
“Who has time?” she said.
During his meeting with the doctor, Kim joked that his injured finger looked like the logo from “Saw II,” but he received the good news that his hand is healing well and won’t need to be amputated.
“100 percent,” the doctor assured her.
“Look, I think you averted a crisis,” he added. “It could have been really bad.”
In March, Kim showed off her bandaged hand in an Instagram video for Skkn By Kim, revealing the contents of her bag.
