Images of what appears to be the Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL have been posted online, with the Pixel 9 image showing the previously leaked Pink color scheme, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL renders show a Porcelain color.
Google has already shown glimpses of the Pixel 9 series, and there’s no shortage of renders and hands-on images, and now a leaker has posted renders of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Sudhanshu Ambhore has posted two supposed renders of the Pixel 9 series on X, one showing the Pixel 9 and the other the Pixel 9 Pro XL.
The Pixel 9 renders feature the previously leaked pink color scheme, which is quite eye-catching compared to the black and gray we see more and more of in the smartphone world. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a pink Pixel 9; a hands-on video previously teased this variant, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL was apparently teased in a Porcelain color option.
This isn’t the only recent leak about the Pixel 9 series. Android Authority and contributor Kamila Wojciechowska revealed a major upgrade to the Pixel 9 series’ cameras. Specifically, the regular Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro series will feature a 50MP IMX858 ultra-wide-angle camera, while the Pixel 9 Pro series will also feature a 50MP IMX858 periscope camera. The standard Pixel 9’s selfie camera will also feature autofocus, while the Pro phones will feature a 50MP selfie camera (IMX858).
Additionally, it seems more likely that the Pixel 9 series will use a new modem, as images of a prototype that appears to be the Samsung Exynos Modem 5400 have surfaced. This is encouraging news for anyone looking for a more reliable connection on their Google smartphone.
Google is set to launch its Pixel 9 series, including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, on August 13, meaning there’s less than a month left until everything is officially unveiled.
