“BOSCH: Legacy” will end its run on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee with its third season premiering in March.
BOSCH: Legacy follows Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), a retired homicide detective turned private investigator embarking on a new chapter in his career; Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers), an attorney struggling to maintain faith in the justice system after surviving a murder attempt; and Maddie Bosch (Madison Lintz), discovering the opportunities and challenges of being a rookie patrol officer on the streets of Los Angeles.
The Bosch Universe will continue with an untitled spinoff series starring Maggie Q as cold case detective Renee Ballard, set to premiere on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee in fall 2025.
“For a decade, BOSCH and BOSCH: Legacy have been the most iconic series for Prime Video, Freebie and Amazon MGM Studios,” Vernon Sanders, head of television for Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement. “They are a testament to the enduring power of the storytelling universe that Michael Connelly built for his fans. We’re proud of the impact these series have made, and we’re thrilled that Michael, Titus, Henrik and the creative team will continue to tell even more compelling stories in the BOSCH universe in the final season of BOSCH: Legacy, the new Ballad series and upcoming series.”

Michael Connelly, producer of the spinoff of Amazon’s long-running crime series, added: “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished with this show. Ten years ago, I asked Titus Welliver if we could keep Harry Bosch going for five seasons, and he said yes! Five seasons became 10, and thanks to Titus, the character will live forever in viewers’ hearts and the streaming world as the detective who knew either everyone mattered or nobody mattered. The good news here is that we haven’t seen the last of Harry Bosch. Like the books, Bosch is part of René Ballard’s world, and we can’t wait for the next chapter to begin.”
Fabel Entertainment’s Bosch: Legacy is executive produced by Connelly, Eric Obermyer, Tom Bernardo, Henrik Bastien, Peter Jan Brugge and Welliver.
