Today, A Ma Manière officially launched its six-shoe collection in collaboration with Nike, featuring projects across all three of its brands and marking the brand’s largest collection of its kind since Virgil Abloh’s “The 10” collection in 2016.
Nike, Jordan Brand and Converse are all represented in the “While You Were Sleeping” collection. The Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 39, Nike Air Force 1 Low, Nike Air Max 95 and Converse Weapon Low are among the six pairs that make up this epic capsule collection, which will begin to release on August 20, 2024. The collection was established in celebration of A Ma Maniere’s 10th anniversary.
First up in the collection is the Air Jordan 3. The raffle is running now on A Ma Maniere’s website (via EQL). The shoe will also be available in-store at A Ma Maniere. Here’s a quick breakdown of all six models:
The “While You Were Sleeping” collection officially kicks off with this Air Jordan 3 that features a black leather upper, textured suede on the toe guard and heel, and dark violet perforated suede on the ankle and lace collar. The deconstructed upper gives the shoe a clean overall silhouette, while an elegant quilted lining adds a touch of luxury. A release date has been confirmed for August 20th, 2024 in-store and online at A Ma Maniere.
Next up is the Air Jordan 4 “While You Were Sleeping.” Though it shares similar design characteristics with the Air Jordan 3, the AJ4 breaks down the upper for a slimmer profile. The exterior is covered in a monochromatic light violet that collapses into cream-colored laces and midsole. The same dark violet lining is found on the medial side. The tongue features alternating Jumpman logos and A Ma Maniere A, while the iconic Nike Air is placed on the heel.
The first Air Jordan 39 collaboration is part of A Ma Maniere’s “While You Were Sleeping” collection and continues the brand’s signature color palette of violet, purple, and black. The upper features a unique two-tone contrast pattern with a gum-like translucent rubber underneath. A Ma Maniere script logo appears on the midsole.
On the Nike side, the A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Max 95 once again champions the retailer’s signature color palette. Utilizing the “gradient” placement offered by the Air Max 95, the silhouette features exposed stitching on the upper, leather on the mudguard and lace harness, and thin rope laces for a luxe aesthetic.
A Ma Maniere returns to the Air Force 1 Low for the “While You Were Sleeping” collection, adding an “A” pattern textured lining on the medial side. As with previous Hand Wash Cold projects, the Swoosh is overlaid with grey, and improved ventilation holes in the toe area add new features to the model. Finally, A MA MANIERE replaces the iconic “AIR” on the midsole.
Converse continues its collaboration with Converse Weapon with a low-top model in partnership with A Ma Maniere. The inside features the same quilting but with contrast stitching. The outside combines light bone, khaki and soft like pink on the tongue and laces. The “Y” at the ankle is stamped with the A Ma Maniere logo.
