Finance Secretary John Mbadi has vowed to help President William Ruto secure funding to reopen all congested roads across the country.
Mr Mbadi said he would ensure that all outstanding roads bills of Sh166 billion were cleared and contractors paid so that works could continue.
Speaking at a meeting with local bodaboda stakeholders who expressed their views on the economic situation in Kanyasa Ward, Nyateke constituency, moderated by Nyateke MP Tom Odege, the CS said he would rally the Nyateke region to support President Ruto. , expressed support for President Ruto. Mr Mbadi highlighted funding issues as the main challenge facing road projects in parts of the country.

He emphasized that he will do his best to ensure that the CS fulfills its role of supporting the president’s acquisition of development funds.
Mbadi noted that the main focus is on completing stalled development projects.
“I will ensure that the President has the funds to reopen all roads across the country and pay all the pending 166 billion lice road bills,” Mbadi stressed.
According to CS, Ruto doesn’t have the money to develop the project, so he will help him find funding.

“We want discipline in public transport,” the CS said, noting that the industry is struggling to obtain insurance due to indiscipline in public transport.
