NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson’s Aspen, Colorado home is now available for rent, according to Realtor.com. This property is now fetching an impressive monthly price of $120,000, up from the previous $100,000.
Johnson, known for his unparalleled career in NASCAR as a seven-time Cup Series champion, will be offering the Aspen residence previously owned by actress Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli for rent.
First constructed in 1888, the Aspen property preserves its historic foundation while boasting contemporary updates by architect Derek Scalco. This stunning home measures 4,756 square feet and features 5 spacious bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Notable interior highlights include the main room with stunning double-height ceilings centered around a fireplace, providing a grand yet inviting atmosphere. The kitchen won’t disappoint, with stainless steel appliances and a sophisticated white color palette.
Each bedroom has plenty of space with a fireplace and seamless access to the outdoors. The luxury continues in the bathroom, which features upscale amenities such as a deep soaking tub, elegant tile décor, and a glass box shower. One of the home’s striking design elements is the floating glass staircase.
Beyond its beautiful interior, this property’s charm is further enhanced by its outdoor facilities, perfect for entertaining.
Johnson made the decision to rent the luxury home after driving an Aston Martin DB4 GT Lightweight at the Goodwood Revival. As previously reported by Newsweek, Johnson described the outing at the time:
“This is so special. Oh, and I’m getting a cigar too! This is amazing. What an honor. This is an event I don’t want to miss. I’ve always dreamed of coming here and competing. Ta.
“A huge thanks and appreciation to this team. I scraped my back in the rain… and the team was able to fix the car and get it back on track. Of course, Dario was a good friend for many years It’s going to be a fun night to be able to share the car with him and share the victory together.
“I’m more comfortable with a Cobra or a Galaxy than an IndyCar because they’re much more like NASCAR. They move around more, so the driving style is similar. The Cobra is right-hand drive. For me It was my first time and it took me a while to get used to shifting gears on the “wrong” side, but the Galaxy is left-hand drive.
“What a beautiful circuit. And the other thing that stands out is the effort of all the fans in period costume.”
