Walmart accidentally releases new Xbox consoles early. There’s nothing new for retailers to change their sale dates, but it usually happens to video games that are released too early, especially the highly anticipated types. It’s very unlikely that a retailer will accidentally release hardware early, or at least critical hardware. The new white Xbox Series
Back in June, Microsoft announced three new Xbox Series X consoles. One of them was an all-digital Xbox Series X with white paint, or more specifically, what Microsoft describes as “robot white” paint.

This all-digital machine has a 1TB SSD and retails for $449.99, making it a little cheaper than the standard Xbox Series X. The console will be available for pre-order starting in August, but will be released on October 14th. If you haven’t ordered a console yet but are interested in owning one, you might be able to get your hands on one early.
On Reddit, one Xbox fan shared the word that he spotted an early version of the console on sale while walking through his local Walmart. I don’t know where this Walmart is in the country, but something similar could happen elsewhere. Xbox fans also claim that the console runs cooler than the original Xbox Series X, but this could simply be because the console is newer and as a result, the fans don’t have the same level of dust buildup.
Now that Xbox users are seeing actual images of the console instead of just product photos, opinions are divided over the design. Of course, some people prefer a sleek, pure white look. Some people think it looks a little weird because it doesn’t have a disk drive.
A comment on the above post said, “Looks very fresh, but doesn’t justify not having a disk drive.” “Not having a disc slot seems weird. Like not having a belly button or something,” wrote another comment.
