Nigel Farage has hit back at campaign group Led By Donkeys, who staged a stunt in Clacton to raise awareness of the money he makes from a side job.
The group frequently runs campaigns and stunts criticising politicians, and Nigel is one of their frequent targets.
But in an interview with GB News’ Steve Edgington – which you can watch in full above – the Clacton MP insists it doesn’t bother him, saying he’s “not bothered at all” by the criticism he’s receiving.
“Won’t he be putting up a sign that he does not receive any private funds as a member of parliament?” he questioned.

“As far as I’m concerned, we’re supposed to work a 40-hour week, but I think the Labor Party wants to give us Fridays off.”

“That month was a particularly big one because it was the month that I received three months’ worth of income.
“Whatever I do I will be criticised. I will be criticised for making money. If I’m an MP I should be in Clacton. If I’m in Clacton I should be an MP.”

He was found to be the highest earning MP after filing his interest register.
A sign at Red by Donkeys said he made £132,713 between July 4 and August 4.
Led by Donkeys shared a post of the sign on X, writing: “New sign in Clacton. We have booked this for 6 months and will update it as new members’ benefit registers are published.”
