Fashion designer Manish Malhotra has launched a new store for his label at Jio World Plaza in Mumbai. The launch event was also attended by Bollywood celebrities and billionaires. Nita Ambani, whose family owns Jio World Plaza, was also present.
Who wore what?
Nita Ambani arrived at the event wearing a bright neon green saree and white lace blouse. It looks like she too is inspired by BRAT’s summer trends. She carried a small sparkling Hermès bag and wore large diamond earrings. Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s wife smiled at the paparazzi gathered outside the venue.
Kriti Sanon, who wore Manish Malhotra’s signature designs, was also present. She wore a red saree with sequins all over it, which reminded us of Kareena Kapoor’s red outfit in the Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum song ‘You Are My Soniya’.
Kajol appeared at the event in a suit and Salman Khan’s sisters Alvira and Arpita were also spotted. Rekha looked stunning in a gold tissue saree that complemented her usual bold red lip.
Kanika Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Gauri Khan and Khushi Kapoor were also spotted.
A big week for Manish Malhotra
Recently, Kartik Aryan and Tripti Dimri walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra at the ‘Namo Bharat: Walk for Courage, Walk for Service, Walk for Legacy’ event.
In an Instagram post, Malhotra said the fashion show was held in Mumbai on Tuesday night as part of Seva Pakwada (two weeks of prayers) to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 73rd birthday on September 17. He said it was held.
The fashion show, which launched Malhotra’s ‘Evara’ collection 2024/25, saw models share the ramp with cancer survivors and terrorist attack heroes such as Sonali Bendre, Tahira Kashyap and Hina Khan.
“Last night was a magical night… On the occasion of Honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi ji’s legacy during #sevapakhwada2024, the fashion show alongside models included terrorist attack heroes and cancer survivors. , celebrating our textiles, artisans, traditions and culture…
“Our showstoppers took time out of their busy schedules to lovingly decorate the ramp with @kartikaaryan @triptiidimri and make it all a night worth remembering (sic).” Malhotra writes.
