Fans packed Liberty First Credit Union Arena to cheer on their favorite players and raise money. Funds from the event went to Bags of Fun OMAHA, a service that helps kids going through cancer treatment, and it means a lot to the Warriors. Both departments work. It’s friendly competition. Omaha Police and Omaha Fire rekindled their rivalry on Saturday, but it was all for a bigger cause. Emergency personnel battled it out in Guns and Horses. Fans packed Liberty First Credit Union Arena to cheer on their favorites and raise money. Funds from the event will benefit Bags of Fun Omaha, a service that helps children undergoing cancer treatment. “And it means a lot to the warriors, the work, both departments. It’s a friendly competition, and it brings us all together as emergency personnel, and we raise money for charity and have a good time,” said Battalion Fire Chief Dan Stolinski. Omaha Police and Omaha Fire reignited their rivalry Saturday for a greater good.
The emergency personnel were engaged in a fierce battle at Guns and Hoses.
Fans flocked to Liberty First Credit Union Arena to cheer on their favorite teams and raise funds.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Bags of Fun Omaha, a service that helps children undergoing cancer treatment.
“This means a lot to our firefighters, our jobs and both departments. It’s a friendly competition and it brings us all together as emergency medical personnel, raising money for charity and having a good time,” said Battalion Fire Chief Dan Stolinski.
Guns N’ Horses started in 2009 and is still going strong 15 years later.
