Many internet users who admired the model’s daring outfit soon began speculating that the model had deleted the video after receiving vulgar and hateful comments from Pakistani users.

Who is Roma Michael?

Roma Michael is an engineer with a Bachelor of Technology degree from the University of South Asia.

However, she has a passion for content creation and soon gained fame on Instagram as a social media influencer. Currently, she has over 76,000 followers on Instagram. She has also won several pageants such as Miss Grand Pakistan 2024 and Miss Charm Pakistan 2023.

She also ventured into the entertainment industry and appeared in films like ‘Delhi Gate’ and ‘Kahey Dil Jidher’ and TV series like ‘Tu Zindagi Hai’ and ‘Pyari Nimmo’. After a video of her walking down a ramp in a bikini was deleted, several users claimed that she was a victim of Pakistan’s conservative morality crackdown and was forced to delete the video. However, hours after deleting the video, she posted a selfie of herself wearing the same bikini.

One user wrote, “She participated in the Miss World Grand Show. She deleted this video from Instagram after Pakistani nationals started threatening and abusing her for tarnishing the name of Pakistan. “Another day of domination over the lives of Pakistan’s minorities has begun.”
