Amazon’s October Prime Day sale begins today. This sale includes a small discount on one of this year’s most highly rated OLED TVs. We’re referring to LG’s C4 OLED smart TV lineup, which has dropped in price to an all-time low of $1,297 for the 55-inch model. That’s about $700 off. It’s common for TV prices to drop throughout the year, typically right after a TV’s announcement, but the fact remains that this is the biggest discount since the C4’s launch. Save hundreds of dollars on other sizes.
As a refresher, the C4 is the company’s mid-grade line of OLED TVs. Each model includes an updated Alpha 9 Gen 7 chip for smoother menu navigation. The brightness has also been improved compared to the previous model. The brightness of these TVs reaches almost 1,000 nits. It’s a little darker than the Mini LED panel and not on par with some sets that use advanced QD-OLED panels, but it’s still better than many OLED alternatives.

The maximum refresh rate is 144Hz, which is fast enough to get the most out of your PS5 or Xbox Series X, and also suitable for PC gaming. Along those lines, these sets are compatible with G-Sync and AMD FreeSync. This is where PC gaming really shines.
One of the great features of this smart TV is its enhanced compatibility with the LG soundbar. The newly released soundbar connects wirelessly to your TV, eliminating endless cable clutter from your living room.
The 65-inch model is also on sale for $1,497, which is $200 less than its regular retail price in recent months. And for those with a lot to spend, a huge 83-inch version is available for $3,997. That’s about $1,403 less than the regular price for that model.
