YSR Congress Party leader and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday accused Telugu Desam Party leader and Chief Minister N. – Strongly criticized Mr. Chandrababu Naidu for spreading blatant lies.
Mr. Jagan said the Supreme Court had clearly highlighted Mr. Naidu’s political motive for stirring up religious sentiments and warned him to desist from misusing religious politics.
“The fact that the SC has abolished the SIT itself, which was set up by the Naidu government, shows that the chief minister was politicizing something that did not matter,” he said.
Mr. Jagan stressed that if Mr. Naidu had true dedication, he should apologize to the people.
He said repeated false claims about adulterated ghee used in preparing Tirumala laddu have been proven, even though the TTD Executive Director has publicly clarified that no such ghee is used. He added that Naidu does not fear God and has no regrets.
He further condemned the false propaganda being spread on TDP’s social media, saying the party was spreading lies and defaming others even after the Supreme Court criticized Chandrababu.
He asked a pointed question, “Who did the Supreme Court actually hold accountable? Who should be afraid to stand before God? Who are the truly dedicated people?”
Jagan criticized Chandrababu’s action, saying it had not only damaged the sanctity of the Tirumala temple but also hurt the faith of billions of devotees.
He expressed confidence that Chandrababu’s misdeeds would ultimately face God’s justice, but prayed that the consequences of God’s wrath would be directed only at those responsible and that innocent citizens would be saved.
Jagan also questioned Pawan Kalyan’s understanding of ‘Sanatana Dharma’ and pointed out that Pawan supported Chandrababu despite being aware of his actions.
He criticized Pawan for turning a blind eye to Chandrababu’s false statements, especially Tirumala Laddu, which affected the sentiments of billions of followers.
He questioned how someone could talk about Sanatana Dharma while ignoring such grave violations involving a revered temple.
